Je me positionne sur les hauteurs de Salles-Les-Sources, non loin de Rodez pour profiter de l'arrivée de l'arcus. Manque de bol pour moi j'ai oublié le 2ème jeu de batteries chargées pour l'appariel photo. La plupart des captures sont donc réalisées avec mon vieux camescope d'où une qualité médiocre des images... Rhâ si les pîles ne m'avaient pas lâchées !!
L'orage approche accompagné par un grondement sourd continue, preuve d'une intense activité électrique, masquée par un épais rideau de pluie, ça promet! Il est 17h:
L'arcus se matérialise, il me longe par la droite. Au centre la zone claire matérialise le gros des précipitations.
Zoom sur les bases déchiquetées de la bête. Les bases déchiquetées ne se lacent pas de se faire et de se défaire, du régal pour les yeux !
Le rideau de pluie prend des couleurs verdâtres, l'arcus continue sa progression, lentement...
Le rideau de précipitation avale toute la vallée, le grondement du tonerre est continu...
La rainure claire est bien visible au dessus de l'arcus
Un coup de foudre tombant plus en avant du rideau de précipitation permet l'illumination de l'arcus...
L'arcus arrive sur ma position, il va me longer, je décide de m'approcher pour effleurer le rideau de pluie qui me paraît très dense voir gréligène avec cette couleur verdâtre.
Précipitations très intenses, sous la forme de paquets de pluie (comme des sceaux d'eau), circulation très délicate, il fait nuit il est 18h...Retour sur Rodez délicat, je dois m'arrêter sur le bas côté plusieurs fois en raison d'une visibilité quasi nulle. L'orage se déplaçant très lentement on n'en voit pas le bout !
Un bel orage j'en garde de sacrès images dans la tête, mais un goût amer d'avoir loupé de superbes clichés...
